Acceptance is not resignation. It is the gentle art of being present with what arises, without pushing it away or clinging to it. When we meet difficult emotions, thoughts, or experiences with curiosity and kindness, we loosen their hold on us. Acceptance creates a spaciousness, allowing us to respond with wisdom rather than react out of fear or habit. In this way, we find freedom—not from difficulty, but within it.
